Great job Joe! I live in upstate NY and love your videos and insight. I follow you regularly and use a lot of your tactics up here in our northern waters. Congrads to you and your dad with a partner like that you can’t lose! Good luck in the next event.

Joe I noticed bouncers, what is your go to rod and reel combo for bouncers in the rod holder? I know sometimes you run the long noodle type but this video didn’t look like you were running them. I’m really getting into the bouncer and three way bite and was just curious what you recommend for rod reel set up to set in the holder. I’m sure you get asked all the time but I’ve never done it …lol.

Hi Dave, I was just using my regular 8’6″ trolling rods with 12lb mono. Wasn’t really prepared to run bouncers but was marking several fish within 5 feet of bottom so I just put some 2oz bouncers near bottom to see what they were and ended up getting several bites that way. If I’m bouncing rocky areas I like my other bouncer set ups but in this case it wan’t necessary to be right on bottom, so any rod worked fine.
